Prior to forming M.E. Zukerman & Co. Inc., Mr. Zukerman spent
sixteen years with the firm of Morgan Stanley. Early in his career
he worked extensively on project financing for that firm's energy
clients, particularly in the development of their North Sea fields.
Later, in the early 1980s, Mr. Zukerman participated in numerous
mergers and acquisitions of major companies, and was joint head
of Morgan Stanley's energy group, advising that firm's energy clients.
In 1985, Morgan Stanley opened its Los Angeles office and Mr. Zukerman
became head of the firm's West Coast investment banking operations.
Upon his return to New York, he became a member of the Morgan Stanley
merchant banking group. In 1988, Mr. Zukerman formed M.E. Zukerman & Co.
Inc. to engage in merchant banking.

Mr. Mocatta joined M. E. Zukerman Investments Ltd. in 2005 to develop
the Firm’s European investment activities. He started his merchant
banking career in London first with Hambros Bank and subsequently
with First Chicago giving corporate finance advice to companies and
sovereign borrowers in the international capital markets. Subsequently,
in Chicago with The First National Bank of Chicago, he advised European
companies on their US acquisitions and international borrowers on
their US private placements. Since 1982, he has been active in the
private equity markets, first in the US as a founding partner of
Polaris Capital Group and subsequently with Union Bank of Switzerland
and UBS, where he started their northern European private equity
investment activities.

Prior to joining M.E. Zukerman & Co. Inc. in 2006, Mr. Cender spent nearly ten years practicing law with the firm of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, where he specialized in mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate finance, capital markets, bankruptcy and restructuring, and corporate governance matters. Mr. Cender was seconded to Tyco International Ltd. upon hiring of new management to replace its indicted former executives, where he advised the senior management and board of directors on finance, securities compliance, corporate governance, employee compensation, and other matters. Mr. Cender directs the Firm’s U.S. energy investment activities, coordinates all of the Firm’s investment decisions, and supervises all legal matters for the Firm and its portfolio companies. Mr. Cender sits on the Management Committee of Cortez Pipeline Company as Vice Chairman.

Roger Cornish joined M.E. Zukerman Investments Ltd. after careers
in both the mineral exploration and oil and gas businesses of Shell

(UK) Ltd. in 1996 as the CEO charged with the financing, design,
construction, and operating responsibility for the UK-Continent
two-way gas link. He remains the non-executive Chairman of that
company.

DOUGLAS E. GROSE, Director

At MEZ & Co., Mr. Grose currently focuses on Firm’s medical communications investment in Quadrant HealthCom Inc. leading strategic initiatives including two add-on acquisitions in the last 4 years. In earlier years, he focused on optimizing the Firm’s Indonesian palm oil investment including a successful exit. Prior to joining MEZ & Co. in 2003, Mr. Grose spent several years executing venture capital investments in digital media and leading a host of strategic business development efforts for Primedia Inc., a leveraged build up in the publishing sector. Before attending Stanford University for his MBA, he worked in the Investment Banking Division of Merrill Lynch on high yield debt underwritings for issuers in a range of industries.
